JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for the analysis of data and preparation of reports for the Business Office. This position of a Data Analyst also uses Crystal Reports via the BI Portal and Microsoft Products for preparation, design, and running of reports and queries for analysis in support of the Business Office.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepares, creates, and runs reports and queries for the Business Office.
- Updates the Referring Provider file through Service Now requests. Works closely with the Director of Contracting to maintain the various insurance fee schedules and sends updates to the IT Department when appropriate.
- Annually reviews and sets charges for services by utilizing the formula approved by the Finance Committee and shares the necessary this information with the IT Department to update the system.
- Maintains the various payor fee schedules (in coordination with the Director of contracting) and sends updates to the IT Department when appropriate.
- Prepares monthly drug profit/loss reports for providers and reviews with the designee from the Business Office.
- Sends monthly profile variance files to payors and Business Office designees for resolution.
- Updates Daily Admin report
- Prepares weekly EPIC Graph Package for distribution for Business Office
- Performs other related Business Office Analyst duties as required
May be exposed to hazardous drugs. Attends OSHA training upon initial employee orientation and annually completes an OSHA competency.
RELATIONSHIP WITH OTHERS: Must have excellent relationship with Department Management and Physicians consistent with the ability to gather information and preparation of needed reports and spreadsheets.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE: Accounting Degree or equivalent. Skilled in Microsoft products including Word, Excel and Access.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Requires sitting, standing bending and reaching. May require lifting up to 20 pounds. Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office equipment such as computer, fax, calculators and telephone. Requires normal hearing and vision.
Compensation range: $60,000 to $80,000 annually
