About the Doctor

Why did you choose podiatry?

After college, I worked at Georgetown University Hospital on a Lung Cancer Research Team. I spent a lot of time shadowing all different specialties at the hospital. I met a podiatrist and was drawn to the balance of primary care, procedural medicine, and surgery. I loved that they could see someone in the office who was in pain and fix their problem with a procedure so the patient could walk out pain-free.

What specialty services/procedures do you perform?

I provide conservative treatment for sports injuries and fractures. I am board certified in Reconstructive Rearfoot/Ankle Surgery. I surgically treat all foot and ankle ailments including bunion and hammertoe correction, flat foot reconstruction, tendon and ligament repair, fracture repair of the foot and ankle, correction of foot and ankle arthritis, and correction of congenital foot and ankle deformities. Also, I perform in-office procedures including removal of ingrown toenails, removal of plantar warts, and skin biopsies of the foot and ankle.
