I enjoy working with patients to determine the least invasive treatment to restore the highest level of function. My goal is to educate patients on their condition and help them realize that they have a role in their treatment and some control over their discomfort. A Physicians role is not necessarily to heal, but to educate patients allowing them to control their discomfort.

Why I Chose Medicine

I was always an athlete and encountered many musculoskeletal injuries myself. I found pain management very interesting in terms of getting patients back to normal function and returning them to the activities they enjoy. I’ve always enjoyed tackling back problems and injuries of that nature.

I enjoy teaching the patients about their dysfunction and guiding them through ways to manage their pain. I empower patients by helping them realize there are things they can do to control their pain.
