Why I Chose Medicine

Medicine is a field that offers a mix of experiences. Not only do I have the privilege of caring for the ill, but I get to interact with culturally diverse individuals. I am challenged intellectually on the daily and have many humbling encounters along the way. Also, medicine is one of the very few professions that remains the same no matter where in the world you may travel to– the language does not change.
